Imagine if a Rollercoaster Tycoon game came out that let you pick what metal or wood you made your coasters out of and individually craft each loop and train, custom-craft all the bodywork and pick the colors, and work on all the minutiae of designing your own coaster. You know how in tycoon games like Rollercoaster Tycoon, you can build your own theme park from scratch and construct all your roller coasters and place all your rides individually? The state of Automation so far is that it's still in Early Access, but there's a good reason it's been such a long slog to a distant release: Victory: The Age of Racing suggested in its future setting that the total automation of the car and its disconnection from being an extension of the person driving it, instead obeying some whim of some government or private database, were the first steps to humanity surrendering its personal freedom and losing an important part of itself.Ä«asically, cars mean a lot to me, so when this game called "Automation" showed up offering me the chance to practice my ultimate dream job, running my own car company and building a line of cars from scratch according to my uncompromising vision, I decided to get it, and this LP will, I hope, gather the car lovers on SV. They live and breathe, sucking in air, turning chemicals into heat and exhaling with the heartbeat of their pistons. Hero, villain, and an extension of every human being who has ever owned one. They are status symbol, work partner, and playmate. Traffic laws and speed limits have done little to change that-just getting out of the house and going for a drive is all the proof I need for that. It took transportation off the railroads in private and public, and instilled within modern man the tenets of personal travel and if you asked me, a yearning for freedom. I am a firm believer in the automobile as one of the greatest inventions of the last two centuries. Before the internet, before anime really got me into art and writing, cars and nerding out about them were my one true hobby. that sound I'm hearing is people somehow physically walking out of a forum thread, isn't it? The dangerous, wonderful, colorful world.

So, with people kinda liking what I'm doing with Convoy, I decided now would be the time to unleash a side LP, something I can always come back to in between other projects.
AUTOMATION CAR TYCOON GAME FACTORY SIZE MOVIE
I've realized I'm not the best at pieces to camera and when I try to summon up my thoughts while something's unfolding and it's not a wacky improv comedy prompt, I'm just shot through with "uhs" and "ums." Not just that but my PC not being the quickest out there means dead air, and Windows Movie Maker just ain't good at making any of that feel shorter than it all actually is. I'm wising up quite quickly to the idea that screenshot LPs are good for me, especially for many of the games I have on my PC where merely talking about them might drag the proceedings a little.
